Ulduar Open Recruitment - Hunters and Paladins

Civilian is actively looking for Paladins and Hunters for our progression raiding team for Ulduar.

Paladins should:

Enjoy healing and be well versed in all the aspects of the holy paladin.
Be prepared to play a second spec (or third) at any time. You will not only be a holy paladin in Civilian.
Have a comprehensive grasp of healing strategies and the strength and weaknesses of all healers classes.

Hunters should:

Understand all aspects of the hunter class including the latest theorycraft for maximum hunter dps.
Have a willingness to play any spec.
A stable of pets that could benefit the raid as required.

For Civilian's first time at the cutting edge of raiding I'm very proud of our accomplishments in TBC. We've stuck together through thick and thin and did incredible. The elite club of Kil'Jaedan killers has a new member!

There is something to be said for perseverance and there is no question you all demonstrated your desire and heart with this trek through Sunwell. I learned so much about myself and you and what it takes to be where we are. Don't sell yourself short and say its just a game. There are 10,000,000 other people playing WoW and we've done something most can only dream of.

Grats on downing M'uru! With that kill Civilian entered the Top 100 club for the first time. What an amazing accomplishment!

Loot was Ring of Omnipotence which went to Zathrus, Heroic Judicator's Chestguard which went to Arorah, Harness of Carnal Instinct which went to Zafo, and the Sin'dorei Band of Triumph which went to Gurruk.

Yes that's right Civilian finally has a loot browser! Click on the image below to see it in action

The labor of Zafo and Gurruk, Civilian strives to have the best loot browser on the planet! This version is still in beta however so please submit feeback on this thread as we want to make this really a great tool for us all.

One of the coolest features is the sliding selector shown on the right:

This little baby allows you to look at loot most recently aquired by Civilian, loot by class, loot by member, loot by raid and loot by boss. We also love to look at all the loot that died without being used!

As I said this is a BETA so we expect you to find issues. You also might experience slow loading times when viewing big lists of loot as we don't have any paging features enabled yet. Please be patient.

We have most of the last two months of loot data in the browser. If anyone was running a loot tracker during that time please chat with me in-game. Moving forward we should not miss any loot.

Not sure this is really the harder position to do but we did it that way and it seemed fit us well. It was quite a six minute ride!

And the loot was not anti-climactic! 2xArchon Gavel went to Arorah and Otrera. Book of Highborne Hymns went to Giftofhealth, Spaulders of the Thalassian Defender went to DJSticky, Belt of the Forgotten Conqueror went to Judgmant, and the Sin'dorei Pendant of Triumph went to Neckface. Grats everyone on your loot and a awesome reverse twin money shot!

That sums up this fight nicely. Blizzard comes through with another amazing, complex, and challenging fight. Argrax received Chain Links of the Tumultuous Storm, Gurruk received Onslaught Boots, DJSticky received Lightbringer Stompers, and Neckface received Slayer's Boots.

In a valiant effort Jung (DJSticky), Freud (Gurruk) and Dr. Phil (Mancrusher) asked Kalecgos to show them on the doll where Sathrovarr the Corruptor touched him. When we found out exactly what a *** he was we killed him in a rage of vigilante justice!

Loot was 3xBracers of the Forgotten Vanquisher which went to Zafo, Neckface, and Vineya. He also dropped his Legplates of the Juggernaut and they went to Lightsgrace.

There is nothing sweeter than setting goals and achieving them. We started on this journey in January of 2007 and today we accomplished what we set out to do. It is a rare and special group of people that have the tenacity to stick with a plan, deal with the trials and tribulations, and come out on top! You deserve this kill Civilian!
