Hey Everyone of Civilian, My name is Reagan Savard i live in Alberta, Canada. I am 18 years old and i attend highschool, currently all i really do is go to school, come home at 2:30-3pm ST and play wow until about midnight, unless its a weekend then its all night and day usually. i dont have a job because between school and my hobbies, its just too much stress, I am online most of the time, my xfire records over 60+ hours this week, so as you can tell i am very reachable at most times. First of all i would like to take this time to tell you that my hunter is on the server Burning Blade, he is being Transfered on March 6th, 08. I hope this is not a problem, enjoy the App.

My World of Warcraft experience started in May of the release year, i started my hunter and have been playing it ever since, at first i reached out to the PvP aspects of the game but found myself dulled by the lack of group effort that i was soon struck upon by my first raid of kara, since then i have been dedicating every day trying to find anyway to up my DPS just one more step, even faced against those of better gear i manage to come out on top, many of my online friends have told me that i am the best hunter that they have ever played with, and i am honored to have that title bestowed upon me. I play other characters in my off time, such as my 70 warrior and 70 rogue(both in Bonechewer). but mostly just my rogue to farm mats for pots (elixirspec).

Although much of my efforts are towards my own character, nothing makes me happier than watching a boss go down as a guild, i believe that in bettering my own character, i will benifit the entire guild. Much of what i farm on my rogue goes to the guild, my rogues bank is filled with flasks and elixirs, waiting to be used by a group as a whole. I am not a loot junkie, i will admit, i enjoy putting on a new piece of gear as mutch as the next person, but if it means that i must pass on a piece of gear in order to bring another below me into the raid scene, well nothing would make me happier. i dont require gold to pay for repairs or respecs as i can pay that on my own.

Being apart of WoW the time i have, i come to realize that its not about me, its about friends, i have friends outside WoW, but i have come to trust my Ingame friends more because they are like me, they play wow just as i do, i dont believe in wating my time on arguing over loot or meters, but rather to get back there and get it next time, if i get beat on a meter, i dont get mad, i go and find what i did wrong, and try to break away from that. i am open to advice recieving or giving, it is just how i am.

My raid experience is not horrible, i have cleared Kara, Gruuls, Mag, 5/6 SSC, and 2/4 TK (have not done solarian).

I have all the mods that most guilds require such as: Group Calander, Omen, Solarian Alarm, and DBM, (note these can be changed at anytime).

Below you will find an Armory Link followed by various ways to contact me, thank you for taking time to read my application and i hope you consider me.

Guild history, why Bonechewer, why Civilian?

After answering Argrax's questions please explain the benefits of playing a BM hunter in endgame content over being a survival hunter or a MM hunter. Also please defend your spec. It's along the lines of the cookie cutter raiding spec, but why Spirit Bond? If you need to regen health in a raid you have either been pulling aggro or the healer's aren't doing their jobs. Those points would be better spent elsewhere.

Have any WWS reports from these SSC/TK's where you were able to "come out on top"?

i have no guild history in bonechewer with my hunter, my warrior was in crazy eighty eight, but i am inactive most of the time on my warrior, my rogue was always guildless untill last night i joined "The Structural Defect" with a friend, My hunter is being moved to bonechewer because i have a few friends that transfered there that  i have known for a long time, but by the sound of the guilds they are in, they arent my type. I chose civilian because coming on the guild site i seen " It is a rare and special group of people that have the tenacity to stick with a plan, deal with the trials and tribulations, and come out on top!  You deserve this kill Civilian!  I am honored and priviledged to play with you all" , this stuck out to me from other guilds because i believe in group effort above all, not one single above others, when the leaders of a guild are honored or priviledged to play with the others, that shows incredible and rare leadership.

At my current gear level i dont have the Attackpower to go MM, or the Agility to go Survival, i know every spec and BM gives the best DPS and is more benificial overall for the raid, between Serpent's Swiftness and Ferocious Inspiration, i feel that BM is less gear dependant but still dealing high amounts of dps, i do plan to go MM with better gear. Well about the spirit bond, i farm alot, when im not rading im farming this helps to keep me and my pet topped off without wasting food, it helps in raids to because the guild i am in is currently in progression, because many of the pulls have aoe this helps me stay up, so the healers can focus on MT aswell as other members.

We raid tonight and i can try to get one, if you explain what it is, and "coming out on top" refers not so much  to damage, but skill level, i do good damage but the meters arent that important to me.

    Nice app Nationaldebt.

I'm a bit confused this one point. Coming out on top implies some sort of ranking. How do you rank skill level for a dps class aside from dps/total damage? Do others pull aggro? Do others target wrong mobs? Do others throw snowballs at tank? What do you do differently to have the top skill level?

WWS stands for wow web stats. It is a combat log tracker that combines all the data into easy to see graphs. It lets you know how much damage you did by skill, mob, and attempt. It also is a great tool to see how you might improve your gameplay. You can see a few of our fights up at the top of the page. Just click on the WWS link.

    Good Luck on the App!

    Nationaldebt:

This is not sufficient enough.  I know nothing about where you come from, why you've chosen the guilds you have.  How you deal with moving from your current guild to then transfer servers with friends.  Please be more explicit in your World of Warcraft history on the toon you are applying to our guild with.  Also, when replying, please use better sentance and paragraph structure so that it's easier to read and understand.  Thanks.

As i have said i have no guild history in bonechewer, how can i have reason for that which does not exist?, I dont plan on dealing with my current guild, its on another server so what does it matter? i have told you everything about my hunter history that need be said, and please dont judge me on sentance structure, im not big on forums.

I dont see what it matters, i mean honestly i read that it could take more than 2 weeks for an app to be fully reviewed and my hunter will be transfered well before then.

It matters because the officer's of Civilian need to know what the history behind the toon is. If we take in someone who causes problems that made them leave their previous guild we don't want that started in Civilian. Not saying that's why you left it just helps give people a feel for your characters history and what you are bringing to this guild if accepted.

    thanks for the comment

well i know that dps is judge mostly on their damage, thats a given, but dpsing is more than just pushing a button, timing is key and so is being able to adapt to a situation, if something goes wrong then i am able to usually pick up and help out when needed, i am starting to feel that writing "coming out on top" was a mistake to write here.

i cannot post anything from WWS because i dont use it.

Thank you for taking the time to apply to Civilian.  At this time we are not interested.

Good luck on your guild search.
