    Add-on issues for Vista users

For those running Vista with issues (for crusher  mainly if he hasn't figured it out yet)

The addon directory seems to have been moved for people on Vista. Apparently it's in "C:\Public\Games\World of Warcraft". If you update plugins in the old directory, it just plain won't notice! At all! And you'll get one of the above errors. Update it in the new location.

I'm thinking of getting a new 'puter with vista, currently running XP.  Can I simply copy the entire folder over to the new computer like I could with XP, or do I have to do a fresh install?

When I upgraded to Vista that's what I did. Just dragged wow to external drive.. then dragged it back onto Vista machine. Not having the above issue either with addons. They go in the wow folder. Also have the curse addon updater pointing to addon folder. No problems.
