Civilian

When someone asks me for a Glyph, the last thing they want me to tell them is what ink it takes or which pigment makes that ink.  They usually want to get down to business and just know which herbs I need and how many to get the job done!

So I’ve taken the list that so many resources have out there and reversed it.  You’ll find exactly which herbs you need for that Glyph.  Then it’s just a matter of deciding if you need 5 or 10 to bring to your scribe along with some parchment!

Cyrran offered to put the list in a format for me.  He did an awesome job getting it started.  Zafo is going to tweek it some for us when he gets a chance.

Summary of how herbs turn into a Glyph:

Every 5 herbs milled = Pigment (2-4 per milling)
Every 2 Pigments = 1 Ink
Every 1 or 2 Ink(s) + Parchment Paper = Glyph

Minors

Minor glyphs are a discovery and can only be discovered once every 20 hours.  There are approximately 61 minor glyphs currently in the game.  All minors will not be discovered by every single scribe on the server until at least the first part of December.


As each Scribe in Civilian learns a new minor glyphs we’ll update the list accordingly.


    Q.  But umm…how do I decide if I need 5 or 10 herbs?

    A.  Good question!  If the glyph you need requires 2 inks, than you bring 10 herbs.  If it only requires 1 ink, you just need 5 for that glyph (based on “per glyph”)

Use this list as your source of who has what and what materials are needed.  Than YOU contact the Scribe, not the other way around.  We'll keep this list updated as we learn new Minors and as new glyphs come into the game.
