    Sinix- Feral Druid

Allow me to begin with a Breif history about myself. My name is Bruno, and I am a semi-hardcore gamer. I have loved games since as long as i can remember and I intend to keep playing them forever. My MMO experience began with FFXII. I played that for about a year and a half, but that is when I came in contact with World of Warcraft. I instantly fell in love with the game. I played it very casually at first, but i started getting really into it after a few months. Unfourtunately I never really got to experience all the goodies Pre BC because i was never in big raiding guilds or anything of the sort. During BC, I was finally able to join some decent guilds and run Kara and other simpler raids, as well as all of the heroics. I honestly never really got into the T5 or T6 raids because the guilds that i was in were never ready for those, and that caused me to be somewhat undergeared to join other guilds that were already at BT and Hyjal. I have tried several different MMOs as well such as Lineage II, Guild Wars, Warhammer online, but no matter what, I keep coming back to WoW because its just so much fun.

Now I am finally well geared, and I have become very experienced at playing my class as a tank and DPS. I love doing both, but DPS is my favorite. I honestly dislike healing, but if really really needed, I won't mind doing it as a last resort for the benefit of my guild. I am in Full epic gear for both tanking and DPS, and I am hoping to get to this same point quickly now that lich king is coming out. I was hoping that I could have a fresh start with a new guild who actually wants to get to the top and do the end-game raids. Not just join one when they had already done everything. I want to be a part of being some of the first to ever get to do the awesome content that awaits us in WotLK.

    Info:

    Name: Bruno

    Age: 19

    Armory Link:http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Bonechewer&n=Sinix

My gear changes around quite a bit though because I have DPS sets, Tanking sets and PvP sets. If you want to see them all individually I would be more than happy to show you in-game =).

    Stats:

DPS: 3700+ Atk power (Unbuffed), 40.3% crit chance (Unbuffed), My hit rating isnt maxed out but i have a decent ammount of Hit rating, and I also have about 10% armor penetration.

Tank: 1600 HP, 20k Armor, 36% dodge (All unbuffed)

I have Vent and a Mic, and Will also gladly install any addons that may be needed.

My computer and internet are both very fast and Up to date. I can run WoW with zero lag and no problems whatsoever on all max settings.

Like I said before, I am a semi-hardcore gamer, but I take orders very well, I learn easily, I am very responsive with my duties in raids, and I take criticism very well because I like to know when I make a mistake or if I could do something better for the guild. I also like to assume leadership positions whenever possible, but I will not go and try to take command over someone who I know is a higher up than myself. I like to help calling out in raids for certain things that other members need to be aware of, and I will do any job the raid leaders tell me to do. I am very easy-going when it comes to this kind of thing and I will always do my best to have a succesful raid, and most of all, I want everyone to have a good time.

Other Info: I just recently transferred to this server, and form what I have seen you guys are the best guild out there, so to me It would be an Honor and  a Privilege to join this guild. I raided earlier today with a pretty large group from Civilian in Hyjal and I can honestly say it was one of the best raids I've ever been in, especially considering how such a large number of us were PUGs (Myslef included).

If there is anythign you guys would like to know about me, please feel free to ask. My email is risingdragon@bellsouth.net if you need to contact me.

     Thank you for your time,

    -Sinix (Bruno)

Hey its that Sinix guy!  (Grind is an alt of mine)

Thanks for applying.  You might want to take a spellchecker to your application.  Mainly because you do a decent job talking about yourself and that just detracts from it a bit.

We will need a much more detailed history of your toon and guild experiences.  Also, all raiding druids in the guild are expected to be ready to play multiple specs.  I don't care if its resto or boomkin but feral I consider one spec.  Grind is actually capable of playing all three Druid specs and while I'm not the master of any if he is needed for any role I relish the variety and want to make raids work.  But that's just me.

We also need to understand what part of the world you live in and your playtimes.  Do you have a job?  Are you a student?  Do you have a girlfriend and is she comfortable with your gaming?  We don't need addresses and company names just more general information about your availabilty and commitments outside of gaming.

Finally, did you take the time to read up on our guild?  Who are the officers?  What time do we raid?  What is our loot system?

Good luck, our application process can take a while so be patient.

    Re: Sinix- Feral Druid

I guess I'll do this by answering each question individually as to not cause confusion.

To Neurotika: I am the one that was on the bonchewer server (The first one that you said) I was never in any of the others. The previous server that I was in before Bonechewer was Stormrage.

To Gurruk: I just went through my whole app again and honestly only saw 2 or 3 spelling mistakes. I am usually very annoying about my spelling because I hate saying or writing things incorrectly, so thanks for pointing them out. Usually they are results of my Typos because i type very fast =). Like i said before, I preffer Feral over all the others, but If the guild needs me to, I will be more than happy to change my spec to Balance or Resto. I am good at playing balance, and Decent at resto. As long as I can get geared for it it shouldn't be a problem.

I Live in Florida so my time zone is Eastern time. A little bit off the server time, but it works well with my schedule because most of my playing during the week will be done late afternoon to night (7PM-2AM Eastern time). Weekends my playtime can be very random but If there is a raid scheduled I can usually move whatever I have planned in the weekends to be able to make it to the raids. That really isn't a problem to me. I am currently a student in college taking all my classes early in the morning, and I work in the mid afternoon 3 times a week, and for only 3 hours a day so I get at least 3-4 hours to play every day. This upcoming week I might not be online quite as much because I am Testing for my 3rd Degree Black Belt (I've been in martial arts for 12 years) and the test is all week long so I may be a bit tied up with that, but after that I will be able to play regularly without any problems.

I think that My time zone fits perfectly with the Guild's raiding schedule because I am about 3 hours ahead of server time which causes my play time to fall right on time with the Guild's raid times =).

I have read the "About us Page at least 2 or 3 times already, and I'm not gonna lie and say I memorized every Officer's names but I do know where to find them if ever needed, and I know that I will eventually get acquainted not only with every officer but with every guild member. I like to become friends with everyone that I can so don't be too surprised when you hear me shouting your name and giving you a /hug for no apparent reason.

To Rokochan and Minathia: Haha yea I meant FFXI. Sorry. I guess i got a little carried away with that extra I. Thanks for pointing it out.

Anythign else you guys want to know just ask and I'll be more than happy to share =)

    Wink

I'll go ahead and ask a few questions now.

    - What spec do you intend to level with in the expansion? Why?

    - With the new talents, do you believe that feral druids are now better tanks or not as good? Why?

    - Do you intend to regem your gear in the expansion? By this I mean, not just the new gems with more +stats, but redesigning your gem strategy to take advantage of the changes. Explain your answer please.

    - Gurruk asked you to explain in detail your guild and character history. You did not do that in your response. We want to know what experience you have, and where you got it.

    - The Armory has been down all day, so I have not been able to check your spec, gear, and professions. Why did you choose your professions, and will you be changing them in the expansion?

Thank you! I'll stop there for now.

    Re: Sinix- Feral Druid

Hehe. whoops. Like i said, couple of typos. My bad =).

-For the expansion I will continue as a Feral Druid. I have always loved Druids because of the shape shifting, and I find it the easiest class to get things done considering I can do very good DPS, tank many monsters at once and pretty much never run out of mana, as well as still being able to heal myself.

-I love the new tanking talents for Feral druids. The extra 12% damage reduction from protector of the pack is simply amazing, and an extra 6% dodge and rage gain with every dodge helps a lot. Also a faster cooldown on mangle is great for keeping my threat up. Besides the talents, A lot of great tanking changes have been made such as Swipe hitting all enemies, a Glyph for maul to hit 2 targets, and Faerie Fire doing damage and extra threat in bear form. They are all great to improve my tanking capabilities.

-I will definitely regem my gear. I am still not sure of all the different changes that there will be with gems and stats once we hit 80. I know that the Feral armor has been changed slightly since we will no longer get armor from Weapons and bonus armor gear, but all of the items now have increased armor to make up for it. I don't know if there will be any new gems that might have an effect on that but I'm sure there are quite a few other things that are also changing so I will make sure that I know every single one of them and I will try out different gem strategies and I always accept help so I can make sure that I have the best possible stats that I can get.

-In my old server (Stormrage) I was in a guild know as The Free Beer Republic. They were not huge on raiding but more of a laid back, friendly guild. I eventually moved out of that guild because I wanted to get into raiding so I joined Sanctuary who I did Kara, Gruul, Mag, ZA, some TK, and Some of Hyjal with another guild. I have tanked and DPSed in all heroics. After a while Sanctuary seemed to kinda break down because a lot of our members left for another guild. At that point I decided to take a little break from WoW and try Warhammer online. I waited for about 2 months until WAR finally came out and played it for about a month and decided to start WoW again. Now that I am back I changed my server from a PvE server to a PvP server, and there are a lot of new changes so I am still trying to figure out everything that has changed and get back on track.

My professions are Skinning and Leatherworking. I chose them because I can make a lot of useful things for my class like Nethercobra and Nethercleft leg armors, and other really good pieces of gear.

Skinning: 375, LW: 371. I've never really been huge on my professions but I actually plan on getting them maxed out for once with the expansions. I have no intention of changing my professions to anything else for now.

    Re: Sinix- Feral Druid

Lol thanks for pointing that out... I have a serious problem with typos... I am currently training in a mixed martial art that my sensei developed after studying different styles for over 33 years. Its called RDCA and we do mostly combative self defense, but in many different categories such as Jiu-Jitsu, Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Escrima, and several others. I'd love to discuss more about it but I'm not sure if it should be discussed here since it might be off topic since this is an application forum. If anything we can start a Martial Arts topics in another forum. That would be a lot of fun =)

    Re: Sinix- Feral Druid

Hey, sorry for the double post but I was reading another application and saw the person asking to be invited to the guild as a lowest rank so that he could at least keep in touch with the guild throughout the leveling of WotLK. I was wondering if I could also be invited for the time being as a lowest rank just so I can keep in touch and maybe even group up for instances with other guild members so I can get to know people.

He knows people IRL in the guild already.  We don't extend homie applications to people unless they are RL friends/family of existing raiders.
