Cromedome Level 74+ RLF Homie Application

    About me

My name is Ronald Cromer, most people call me Ron or Ronnie. I am 23 years old and living in eastern North Carolina and I am proud to be a firefighter serving in the armed forces of this great country we call the United States of America. I have a 3 yr old daughter(Abigail) who means more to me than anything in this world.I am currently seperated from my spouse. I have recently returned from a 17 month tour down in Honduras, Central America(home of Intesa; the worst internet known to man lol). During my tour in Honduras, I had the pleasure of working with and becoming friends with Bryan Hoover, or as you may know him as Hoov or Hoovyjuice. While spending a lot of time around Hoov I can honestly say that he is a great friend, great WoW player and just a good overall person(aside from the drunken nights at the Rally Point hehe). I also got to know Pete(Ruthlessmind) a little bit during my stay and he is great guy also.

As for myself, I've always been a gamer since I could remember, I think i started playing when I was about 4 years old. The first games I was introduced to were Final Fantasy and Zelda, so as you can see the RPG's have always been my desire. Sports have always been a hobby of mine as well, I've played baseball all the way up to high school graduation then I joined the military and I still play Fire Dept. softball when the season comes around. I love NFL (Go panthers!) and tend to watch NCAA basketball from time to time. I am a really laid back and outgoing guy and I'm down to try anything once.If it involves a grill, a case of beer and a few of my friends then count me in.Other hobbies of mine include watching movies and listening to music from classic rock/metal to hip hop and country.

    World of Warcraft History

In May 2007, I rolled Cromethius Human Warrior (Medivh), (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Medivh&n=Cromethius). I heard about the game through commericials, advertisements, word of mouth etc.. A co-worker of mine at my last base would talk about WoW all the time with me, he said that if I liked RPG's then I would love WoW because of the experience it has to offer. At the time I knew I wouldn't have many chances to play because I was still married and didn't want games to interfere with that, but then I recieved orders to Honduras so I figured I could start playing before I left and continue playing once in Honduras.I lvled Cromethius to 29 after about a week of playing then I shipped out to Hondo. After arriving I met Hoov and he told me he played WoW also told me all about Civilian and the progression the guild had made pre Burning Crusade. I continued to play Cromethius for a few more months and lvled him to 70 then I realized there wasn't much more I could do when the internet was so awful. So Hoov and I decided to re roll new toons on a different server less populated(Scilla) so we could still enjoy the WoW experience. So then Cromedome was born, Hoov made a hunter to lvl with me.I lost touch with my co-worker on Medivh and decided to take a break from my warrior. As time progressed and came closer to leaving, Hoov suggested that we transfer our characters to Bonechewer so that he could manage all toons without switching servers because he would be back in the states with better internet. I agreed and joined Bonechewer soon after, I extended in Honduras for 4 months or so to accomodate the manning situation. I leveled Cromedome to 70 and recieved and invite to guild Without Mercy from Hoovyjuice when he was in the guild. I currently still with WM.

Cromedome-Level 74+ Undead Mage(Bonechewer) (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Bonechewer&n=Cromedome). This is now my main character due to RLF's on the server and I've also noticed that the Horde are a lot more mature when it comes to playing and even having conversations with.My current spec is 0/0/65. I decided to spec frost due to survivability and easier leveling.

    My current unbuffed stats

    Spell damage  987
    Hit rating         90
    Crit chance     10.41 %
    Haste             143
    Mana regen     200

I currenty am  tailoring 385(spellfire tailoring) and Enchanting 380

If you would like to see my faction reputations here is the link http://www.wowarmory.com/character-reputation.xml?r=Bonechewer&n=Cromedome

    Raid Progression

    Karazhan                      Cleared
    Gruul's Lair                   Cleared
    Magtheridon's Lair          Cleared
    Zul'Aman                       Cleared
    Serpentshrine Cavern      not attempted
The Eye                        Cleared up to KT
    Hyjal Summit                 Cleared (with Civilian)
    The Black Temple           no attempt
    Sunwell Plateau              no attempt

As of right now I feel that I am very inexperienced with the caster class, and much less Wow period. I haven't really gotten a chance to work on and improve myself due to the internet situation. I am still learning the ways of the mage and even abilities of other classes so that it might benefit me if parited with that particular class. I have been reading WoW forums on how to put out the most dps possible and even talking to fellow mage friends in figuring out the best spec for me.Like I said before I am frost spec as of right now for leveling purposes and I feel that this will give me time to learn my class better, and now that I'm home the internet will not be an issue. I am open to all advice given to me, I will try anything and everything hoping to make me a better player. I know that if i dedicate my time and effort into learning and experiencing, I can become a better player in PvE and PvP.

    Why Civilian?

I have heard nothing but good things about Civilian since day 1 when I met Hoov. At the time I didn't know what MC, BWL or AQ20/40 meant exactly but I knew that it wasn't an easy task to do and was a difficult milestone to achieve.I've ran a few dungeons with some Civilian members and I can honestly say that there was always friendliness, confidence, respect and professionalism. In my opinion  A respectful guild is not only determined by the progression, but by the companionship and common interests they share in the game. You guys have a lot of pride in what you do and what you have accomplished, I may not be applying as a raid member but I would love to be a part of a guild that I know will be there for me in the future and one I know I can be proud to share the same guild tag with.

    In Conclusion

I hope you take me into consideration and know that I am always willing to try new things with my class and learn different ways to play my character. I'm applying because I want to be part of something amazing in a friendly and a professional manner. I believe I could be an asset to Civilian as a friend and as a loyal and respectful guildmate. Thanks for your time and consideration
